back pressure?
So here is my dilema. I'm picking up my 2013 streetglide tomarrow. That's not the dilema. I ordered with rush 2.5 slipons on it. I have the stage one a/c , powervision ,and jackpot header from fuelmoto I'm being told by others since I am installing the header that 2.5 baffles are to big and I won't have enough back pressure. And they say I should run 2.0 baffles for the back pressure. Others ( Harley dealership) says I won't be happy with 2.0 baffles and said will turn pipes blue. Are we just not understanding eachother or what? What to do what to do.
what to do ?
Take your time.
and keep your warranty valid.
Sounds like you are anxious and ready to ride.
i think it would be smart to have a warranty in case you have concerns.
Otherwise be willing to cover repair costs out of pocket which the warranty might typically cover- isn't that the value in buying a new bike?

I had an 07 with 103 and 255's.. SE download and Xieds.. had the Rush 2"....(they never blued)... had a wreck and they ordered the wrong pipes.... got it back with 2.5"..... lost all bottom end (in comparison)
When I got the 12... I ordered the same 2" pipe...and did the true duals... somewhere along the line I ended up with 2.25... which are a little louder and still have decent pull but they don't have quite the "quick snap" when I hit the gas as the 2" but are smoother to transition from coasting to accelerating.

The great thing is my dealer said they won't void my warrany this is my third new bike through them. I think for the cost o will drop down to 2.0 and maybe try the 2.25 determine which ones I like the best and maybe sell others. Just know that I want the cat gone. This is my first bagger others were dynas gonna miss my fatbob but had to doit...love this site.
Yep that is who told me 2.0 and ill will probly start there. Can't go wrong with fuel moto...
Right.
your dealer will help you out- but what happens if you have a problem far from home.
it is a touring bike, you gotta expect 4 and 5 hundred mile days.
The Dealer cannot modify the terms of the 2 year factory warranty from Harley-Davidson, and it is cool that they will take care of you.
But if you are out of town what happens?
