Default Slow Manuvering with WO575

I've seen some old threads on the WO575's, but no one commented on how they handled for slow maneuvers. I've had WO518's on my RKC for a couple years now, but have to admit, for slow maneuvers, they're just too wide for me. The WO575 are about an inch less in width, and have decent pullback, so I'm thinking they might fit the bill. I put my stock bars back on, and they look like they came off a Schwinn bike. Once you get the WO's on, you can't go back to 1" OD.

I have them on my 2011 SG and they seem to be no different to me.....For me I just have to ride enough to keep in practice. If you ride say once a month your going to be less apt to do slow maneuver's until you get time in again. I make it a point to put myself in the position to do them as much possible and I'm still not a pro at it but I get by

I have the WO576 14" on my 12 SG and don't have a problem with slow manuvering. I can lock it right or left. Just feathering the clutch and rear brake. I'm 6-3

I posted a comment about a year ago after taking the RLAP course on my UC with WO575s. If I were 6'3" like the previous poster, it might not be an issue. But being 5'10", the bars are not easy to handle on a hard left turn. The throttle really gives me fits. Right hand turns are not so bad. I love them for all around riding but for me, they don't work for slow manuvering. I'm not all that good with the bike anyway, so maybe it's just me. Give it some thought if slow riding is a significant part of your seat time.

thanks for the comments. I'd like to find bars that have the same wrist angle, maybe a tad wider width would still work, a little more rise wouldn't hurt, and a couple more inches pullback. . I've looked on the WO site at all the bars and their specs, but really don't see a match. Slow maneuvers were easier with the stock bars, but you had to reach forward too much to be comfortable. I think as you go wider, it's just harder to control the bike with your arms so far out.

Got em and love em. The bends are exactly the same as stock. A couple inches more pull back and a little less than 2 inches wider. I'm 5'10" and no slow handling problems here.

the width felt funny at first but...for me its like power steering, more leverage,i got used to the added reach at full lock, and for all around they are just the ticket for me.
