Default Lower Fairing Question

Do lower fairings restrict moving feet forward on floorboards? Looking at pictures, looks like it might. Tall rider, usually have feet forward past floorboards.

There is plenty of room for extended brake pedal and shifter. Your feet can go inside of them, maybe a little past the engine guard (I have short legs and small feet but I can't touch the inside of the fairings with my toes).
You can also put highway pegs on the engine guard for when you want to stretch out.

I'm 6'1" with boot size 12 1/2. Fairing lowers with floorboard 1" forward & 1" out. I have my highway pegs mounted where I rest my heel on the floorboard & toes on the pegs. This make for real comfortable riding for me. Lowers have never bothered me in any case.
P.S. Also have a C&C seat that moves me back about 2" from the stock seat, which helps a lot!

I'm 6' and have the Harley Goodies Floor Board Extensions; my highway pegs are mounted much like 07 FLHT's where i can rest my heals on the floor boards. I enjoy my lowers and have not found them to be a problem.

I'm long legged and it took me a little time getting use to the lowers. You can still move your feet forward about as much as without the lowers, but the toe left right movement is a limited a little more. Finding the brake and shifter takes a little practice.

I'm with Beary. They restrict your forward and outward movement a little bit but its not the end of the world. I will also add that when the vents are open, the front of my boot catches under the vent when I try to upshift. Just growing pains I suppose.

I've noticed my feet (toes of my boots) hit the lower fairing on my UC when I'm on long rides and looking to place my feet in various positions for comfort. I have highway pegs too and that affords me a few more options on feet placement. I suppose its a trade-off on protection from the elements, etc. with the lowers vs. feet maneuverability. It did take some getting use to when I first starting riding the UC, but now its no problem.

I am 6' and had a little learning curve because of the lowers. Same as others here, I added highway pegs that allow me to put my heel on the floorboard and toe on the peg. I will say that the lowers are here to stay.

Once you have them, you will love them. I like to see all the dead bugs on them that as a result are not on my legs. I have never had any interferance problems.
