I gutted the cat from my stock pipes and it made a huge difference on heat coming off the pipes and it made the Rinehart slip ons sound much better. Best bang for your buck in my opinion.

$h!tcan that stock header as quick as you can. Take a look inside it when you take it off. It's a wonder the motor even runs with that damn thing on. I had slip ons with a high flow air cleaner and the stock header.Hardly any performance more than stock. I went to a 2-1. The performance gain was very noticeable, not to mention how much better the bike ran overall.

One way or the other get rid of the cat
I used V&H Power Duals and am saving my stock pipes just in case big brother mandates sniffing .
Bike ran and sounded great.
