Default I need a lower seat???

Well I lowered my 2006 SG 1" front and 1" on the rear. Now I am looking for a lower seat that will reduce the reach to the ground. I would prefer a full seat that is low profile that will forward position me more than the HD badlander that I once had. If any of you know of a good seat that is at least 1" lower than my stock seat that is a decent let me know. I was looking at a Drag Specialties Preditor touring seat. Any 411 would be appriciated.
Thanks

Send your seat to Mean City Cycles and they will modify it to your specifications. They do great work.

Mean city is the way to go ... quality work for a reasonable cost. You will be satisfied and also will have more $$$ in your pocket for other mods lol

I sent my wife's seat to Mean City Cycle and had her moved 1 inch forward and had the nose narrowed. She loves it! She rides an 06 ultra. We had the front and back of the bike lowered 1 inch and bought an HD reduced reach seat but it was uncomfortable and never really fit her. The modified stock seat is a perfect fit. She is way more comfortable.

Check out the C&C seats. They offer a 10% discount to HDforums members. The seat will lower and seat back approx 1". Here is my thread.

+1 on Mean City Cycles. Had mine narrowed and lowered. Making the nose more narrow also had the effedt of lowering as my legs are closer together when I put down my feet. I also have a Mustang on another bike and like it equally as well.

another +1 for MCC. Had mine narrowed and lowered. It may not be the height that's a problem for you but the width of the seat. Wide seats push out your thighs and make it harder to reach the ground.

Also look at Harley Trail Boss boots. They have one of the thickest soles I've seen without making you look like you're a long - lost member of Kiss. I got a pair a size bigger and put in a thick insole with arch and heel support. Good for another 2".

I HAD a Badlander seat and not only did it look like total *** on my RKC, but the MMC-modded original seat was narrower, got me closer to the ground, more comfortable, and looked way better. The Badlander only looks at home on a Street Glide or Road Glide without a tour pack or back rests.

+1 Call C&C. They make awesome seats and provide the best customer service. They can customize their seats to fit your needs (forward or back, up or down) and will help you with the measurements and deciding the best way to go.

Anyone know anything about the Danny Grey Speedcradle seat? It is a solo seat but I can get a matching pillion later if I need one.
