Bus er

These are all great ideas and sites but what if the Speedo won't let you access them ? Mine only shows bus er and odometer milage no trip mileage .

smoked tach..

2007 ultra pretty much stock except stage 1 air cleaner and exhaust. Sits in my carport nice and dry for about a month. Jumped on it this morning, cranked it up and pushed it out. One final check and I noticed battery light and buss er. then the tach started filling up with smoke. Shut engine down with kill switch but switch would not turn off ! I jerked the seat off and disconnected the ground by this time smoke coming from the faring. jerked it off and found the tach had melted down and welded the plug to the connector ! Thank Jesus I was still in my driveway. OK my question.... Tach PN 6734804B will it interchange with a 6734804D can be found all over ebay? AND where would I find a plug? From salvage would be fine with pigtail, wires are easier spliced.
