I don't see how that is possible as the springs are spring washers that face each other , two sets look like this () and one single washer that faces out (. So the whole setup looks like this () () ( . Maybe they did something on the stock comp that has a coil spring.
Took it apart today and light wear but nothing obvious so when it stops raining I'll warm it up to see how it acts. If I have the same problem I'll go back to the stock. I think I can add a washer under the coil spring to increase pressure.
They double up on the last single cone spring. I dont have an issue with mine so didnt need to do this.
