Trying to install throttle cables to EFI bike.
Throttle grip is not returning...
couple of questions-
there are three places to put cables on the throttle body, and main throttle cable is inserted at first.
when I'm trying to install idle cable it sits realy bad because of small spring:
when I'm trying to adjust cables grip are not returning...
Are you sure it is still in place at the throttle? I helped with this once and found about 6 hands were needed. Hopefully somebody else can give you some better advice.
if they were not run thru the fairing or down the frame tube close to where the originals came from they can bind.. might check out that out.... also might take the return cable off and see if the grip snaps back then...may have binding there also...
collapse the return and pull cable adjustment. adjust the pull cable first to get 99% of slack out then adjust return cable. keep twisting the throttle and let it snap back when adjusting return. when snap back lessens then stop adjustment and lock cable adjusters. so pull side first then return adjustment.
the two are fighting each other if not done in this order.
