I used Impress Plating and Polishing, Humberto is real good to deal with. I had 17/16 spokes, bought a new set of 18/16 with new tires and rotors on Craigslist, did the exchange, also did rotors and front lower legs, sold the spokes on Craigslist to get them out of the garage.

Very timely thread. I was really serious about getting my wheels chromed since my TG's wheels got spots in the aluminum from riding over the winter. I used H-D aluminum wheel protectant = POS - didn't do any good. Anyway I checked out a few platers including Willey Shiny. Big disapointment - none will warrantee against winter riding/salt. Bummer.
Does anyone know a plater that will warrantee againt salt? How are H-D wheels plated - they must be warranteed against salt - aren't they???
