Might want to check that policy close. I am also with State Farm, while they allow me unisured motorist for my cars, they do not offer it for my motorcycles. Not sure if it is a state (I'm in Utah) thing or what.

Just checked my State Farm Policy and it covers "Uninsured Motor Vehicle"
All riders in BC have to buy their basic comprehensive insurance from ICBC, and some of them buy their collision, fire & theft etc from ICBC also.
Not to get political, but I couldn't resist commenting on this. So you MUST buy the basic from ICBC, wow. When I see things like this it just burns my a$$. Nothing like telling someone they don't have a "choice"...

I cant speak for Utah, however In Oklahoma you can get u/m on a motorcycle. But as far as myself my agent suggested I not take it out on the bike because the automotive U/M policy covers me on any vehc Im in or on that I own. Why pay twice. So I dont need to pay for it in the Mc policy

Same deal here in Manitoba, Canada. The insurance company is owned by the provincial government, and you have to buy your insurance from them, no one else is allowed to insure motor vehicles, by law.
I pay $325.00 per month for my Road King, and $220.00 per month for my KTM 450 Dual Sport.
Yow, I have USAA/Progressive on mine. What was the problem with their uninsured motorist? I can't afford any surprises.
They saved me a ton over the Geico I had. And Geico tried to screw me bigtime after an incident that got me the name "Road Rash".

Socialism Sucks!
This is true. I'm Canadian by birth and know how it works. You get raped repeatedly and the only thing you can do is bend over and take it like a man! It's not like here in the US where you have a choice. As stated, it's how socialism works.
