So here's what happened....
Tire was about two months old and put on by dealer. The dealer said when his guy put the tube in he left the tube with a crease. Svc manager said that's why he tells his men to inflate the tire then deflate the tire then reinflate the tire. Apparently the tech left a crease in the tube and friction wore a hole in it from the inside. He fixed for free...new tube no charge for anything and apologized. He was painfully honest about his error and THAT alone gets my respect. So mystery solved....thanks for all the input.
Just drove 250 miles south on my newly repaired tire...got off bike and went in bar with my friend and came out to the rear tire flat AGAIN......no nail no screw no nothing in the tire.
Called Rider and got a motorcycle recovery truck sent .....2 hours waiting....just got home .
Now what? The whole tube got a crease theory happened again?....nah.....so now I get towed from south jersey to my house and the dealer has to come get the bike and do what? Put a third tube in it?
im going to go get a tin turkey pan and do that tomorrow....does anyone have any suggested preference of what kind of soap I should spray this tire down with to see a leak or any soap mix should do?

If it is good for your dishes and your hands, it has to be good for checking possible leaks on a rear tire.
If there is a pin hole in your tire it will show.
Did you check your valve stem to see if it where tight, they can leak air reallly sloooowwwwlly and cause all kinds of grief.
ok, so I didnt read posts 29, 30,31... man I would be learning to do it myself or find another shop.

Had bike towed from my house to dealer with 2nd rear flat with no puncture in tire.
Two tubes let go so far within 3 weeks......
Dealer trying to figure out whats going on in the tire.
I go to move the bike out and she ain't rolling.
I turn on ignition and verify yes I'm in neutral. Still can't roll her.
Long story short. Rear flat. Flat to the ground.
I jack her up to lay down and rotate tire and see where the problem is.
No nail. No nothing. It's a laced wheel. No rim damage. It's a newish tire maybe 2 k on it. Got new tube and new protector when I got tire....
Anyhow.....
I put my air compressor on it and it reads zero pressure. Like I said....this baby is flat.
I pump her up to 40 psi and it holds! No leak....3 hours now...WTF.
Now I can't for the life of me make sense how I go dead flat to no flat.
I check the valve stem and it seemed tight.
How can I go on the road knowing the rear tire let loose of all air and now holds all air. I'm stumped.
Did you check, or fill it before it went flat? Maybe the valve was slightly stuck open and leaked the air out over time?
