2012 UC tour pak wiring problem
I don't seem to have a problem (knock on wood) with cages turning in front of me. The two closest calls I've had were people not seeing me stopped in front of them. So, I'm a big fan of brake light modulators.
I'm trying to install a Kury 5493 Pulsating Brake Light Controller. I'm on my second unit, and neither of them works. The unit flashes the fender brake light, but when I hook up the pigtail to the tour pak brake lights, it kills all the brake lights. A friend with a 09 Ultra with the luggage rack brake light installed my first unit, and it works fine on his bike. So there's something different in the tour pak wiring of the different year models. It seems amazing that Kury hasn't noticed the 2012's are different, but just as amazing that HD could have wired mine wrong.
What I need is for someone with a wiring diagram for the 2012 to tell me what color the 3 wires in the tour pak connector are supposed to be, and what each of them does. I can see if that matches the colors of my wires and at least rule that out.
