Do a search. Lot of info. The newest brackets are third generation with stock number ending in b.

Which one? The silver speaker ones, or the main black ones. If its the main black ones, go to your local hardware store and pick up some "L" brackets with the holes in them. Line up the "L" bracket to the fairing, then mark where the hole on the L bracket lines up with the main black support. Nut n bolt and your all good. Drill two holes and attach to the main support if you like... Good luck.

+1...Have repaired a few on friends bikes with this kit. Well worth the time and money!
BTW...HD came out with the new design in 2010.

Do a search for the thread with pics. I just did the "L" bracket repair. Cost about $3.50. No its not as pretty as a new bracket or the repair kits above but it does correct the problem (hopefully) for good.

That is how I fixed Mine. My silver speaker brackets broke too, I fixed it myself by adding a straight piece of aluminum 1/8"bolted to it

2 years now with them holding strong.
