Mysterious trany leak

I had this problem myself and used a small allen/ratchet handle. I didn't have to remove the exhaust or use ball allens to tighten them up. I removed the bolts, put some locktite on the thread and ran them back in. No more leak and I've put lots of miles down on her since the repair.

As I recall there is also a new, higher torque spec for the header hanger transmission cover bolts. It went from around 14 ft lbs to a little over 20. Dawg probably knows.
I had those bolts back out on my 2010 and cause a leak. Tightened them temporarily with the ball end Allen, then when I did my header changeout, I replaced them entirely with hex head bolts with lock washers and red locktite. I installed them with the old torque spec of 14 ft lbs, but it's still tight and holding after thousands of miles.
Get yourself a good light, those leak sources are tricky sometimes.
