Dakota digital gauges.
I had them on my 2005 Ultra & currently have them on my 2012 SG. I don't have any probelms with them in direct sunlight, also I am running the blues.

I'm having a hard enough time justifying the $700 set of Medallion gauges, so I can't imagine paying twice that for the Dakotas.
I realize the Dakotas are digital and the Medallions are not, but at the end of the day, they're both gauges, and they're both reliable.

I installed them on my Ultra a couple of years ago and I think they are awesome - I have the red set. No problem reading them in daylight, storms, etc. Actually, I think they are much easier to see than stock. I recommend checking eBay, you can get them for about $900.
