I wouldn't mind the purple so much if you could accent it somehow. It is a rare color though. Kinda hate to see things like that go away, but it's your bike.
......... when you pull all the tins this winter, why not try'n sell it as a complete set first.
..... who knows, maybe someone else out there is wanting a psycho purple set & you can put the cash toward a scheme you actually like
.......... and if no one bites, you've got'm all off & yer ready to repaint.

In 2011 the psychedelic purple was "accented" with vivid black. It was a two tone color combination. As you can see in my signature pic, the center of the fenders and the bottom of the tank are black.
In fairness to the OP, I ride an RKC with leather bags and a windshield. I can see (even though I love purple motorcycles) how a purple fairing and purple bags would be just too much purple.
so lets start with what is your favorite color? then choose a good accent color for your choice. Then all thats left is to decide which pattern to go with. Flames, skulls, marbleized, ghost flames ect, ect, ect...Man your choices are limitless. I agree try and sell the purple first then you can just get a custom paint set from Harley.
