Default My first mod

I've had my new(to me) 2010 FLHXSE in my posession for about 5 hours before doing my first mod. Floorboard extenders from Harley Goodies (a site sponsor) and removal of the heel shifter. I made a spacer for the shifter shaft so I could move the toe shifter to the outside (see pic).

The first mod to my Road King was a set Fiamm Freeway Blaster horns.

Heel shifters are ****! Give it a chance and you'll learn to love it.

Not the floorboard extenders, but getting rid of the heel shifter was the first mod I did after getting my new RKC last week. I cut a pice of garden hose to space the tow shifter out to the end of the shaft. I'll use the hose until the Kuryakyn spacer I ordered arrives.

Love the floorboard extensions, but I couldn't ride without a heel shifter anymore.

Me to, was not used to it at first but now I would never get rid of my heel shifter, plus I did not like the marks it left on the top of my boot
