Well I got it. Came with a bunch of extras i didn't know about too. Lowers, tour pack, stock air cleaner cover, solo seat, taller windsheild, lower fairing extensions and a few little odds and ends.
Got to get to work cleaning it up and making it mine. Thunderheader needs to be cleaned up and probably going to wrap the head pipe. Wheels need to be repowdercoated but thinking about putting a 21 on the front. Rear needs a tire. Its has floating rotors in the front they front brakes are a little squishy for me so figure that out. I love the exhaust and sound of the 211 cams but they are weak below 3k. Also want to check the cam tensioners. Can the inner cam bearings be checked without pulling the whole cam chest apart or should i assume they were upgraded when the cams where installed.
All in all im wicked excited. Cant wait to start working on it and cleaning it up. Just gotta deal with being the young guy (25) riding the "old man bike" of the group that i occasinally ride with.

Congrats,
great to see and remember the new bike feeling.
Sounds like you will enjoy it. 1st thing I allways do is get a service manual if you don't have one. $60 is a kick in the groin, but is priceless when needed.
Again, congrats, enjoy, and ride safe.....
On a side note check with Joe Knapp (?), AKA The Powder Pro's (out of Chi town)from the forum for some pretty sweet powder coating options.
There isn't a whole lot he hasn't done, or can't do.
My 02 Ultra has over 90,000 on it and it has plenty of life. 42K is not high millage. I do not understand why so many think a Harley is shoot when it has a few miles. Better to buy one with a few miles then one that has spent most of its time sitting!
I purchased a 2000 Ultra Classic last year with a little north of 42k. Ran great for a year and put it away in the winter.
Next spring had to do the cam chest but thus is life. That was a little over 49k when that happened. The engine run great! It is all the little other things that keep falling off. Have to love the shake.
I would check your fairing brackets as well. Mine where fine till I took my fairing off just north of 56k. One is sheared in half. So time to do the repair.
