Hey Joe Mac, would they give the resale value for the bike? The dealer give the resale value in there book; does the insurance company pay that? How about extras?

Thanks

Unless you have some real attachment to them, I'd just let the insurance company total them and move on. You probably have a lot of other pressing matters, the scoots don't have to be one of them.

Let it go, salt water will never be something that can be fixed. As far as the add-on's I have been able to get those on my renters insurance. It is worth a try, or at least next time you know just what you want for add-on's and talk with your insurance agent about coverage for those extra's.

I think you've made your decision to total them, and walk away. Good decision. Have had friends try to salvage boat diesel engines after salt water got into engine room, nothing but trouble with corrosion after that. Fresh water flooding was different, it's the corrosive salt water that kills.
