Hi all. I have a '12 RG and I'm planning a premium 6 speaker setup (unless someone can convince me otherwise). The plan is to keep the stock head unit, 4 focal 6.5" (one set in stock placement w/ adapter and the other set on the inner fairing), and finally 2 focal 6x9" either on speaker lids or lower fairings.
Here's where I can use your input:
Any con's to this setup?
In terms of sound, what if any, are pro's/con's to speakers on lids vs lower fairings?
Recommended lower fairings (I have HD 360 highway pegs, prefer fairings that allow me to keep pegs)
Recommended amp/watt/channels(4or6)?
Where have you scored a good deal on these components?
Am I missing anything?
If you know anyone in the forum who has a similar setup, let me know, would love to reach out to them.
Cheers,
Chris
