Just ordered the 15 inch bagger z bars from hill country customs cant wait to get them in and install them. Also just got in a new hogtunes big ultra kit w/amp along with the tweeter pod. next on the list is the legend air ride kit since im so damn short and have had 3 knee sugerys I need some way to push that bike backwards. Now the 7-10 day wait begins for the bars to get here.
Pics of the bars are a mandatory
Congrats and good luck. I have been looking at those bars, did you order the prewirered kit?
No problem with the pics as soon as i get them in hand and installed i will be sure to post pics and yes i went with the prewired kit. more so for the simple reason i thnk the chrome controls will look better sticking up there instead of the black controls that i have stock. plus i think it was only like $300 more to get the new controls and have everything pre wired to make installation a little easier
Good luck if you decided to go with those bars. everyone that has apes around my neck of the woods has the standard apes for the most part i wanted to be diffrent thats why i went with the z bar look
I have been looking at these bar kits. I am curious of the quality of the controls that come with them. If you could let us know how they look when you get them I would appreciate it. My hope is that they are OEM quality. I was also looking at this kit.

They look good. I just have to wonder how comfortable they are vs bars like the Yaffe bars where your hands are more straight out instead of the angle of your bars.
I have rode a buddy of mines bike with the monkey bars his are 14's and to be honest i didnt notice much of a diffrance the monkey bars are def bad *** i think either way you would go you will be happy ! as far as the bars i put on mine i got them cause there diffrent not many people around my way have them hell never seen them on any ther bike around my way i havent been on any long ride yet but instantally i have noticed alot more comfort i have had 2 back sugerys and with the bars i sit up strighter and can notice a huge diffrence .
