I'm ~6'1", and I'm gathering all of the parts to install WO 578-10" mini apes + painted inner fairing, Magnum sterling chromite cables, chrome controls, etc, etc. (while it is apart.) I guess we all like what we like... Profound, I know...

I'm 5'10" and have 12's. Don't waste your time, effort and cash going with the 10's. Plus with the 10's you can't use the stock mirrors.

Two questions about the Yaffe MBBs:
1) Will the stock heated grips work with these bars and if not what options are available for adding heated grips? And
2) Do these bars change the grip angle from stock and if so, how so?

Any replays are appreciated.

P.s. If anyone has them, I'd really like to see a few pics of 10" 12" & 14" MBB from the riders seat position.

My new painted inner fairing has no holes on purpose... Obviously, I could drill them if I wanted the stock mirrors. In other words, I find that currently they are slightly, precariously low for me. My mirrors are going up top/traditional... As a result, the 10"s are great with me. The mirrors will be closer to eye level. As I stated earlier, I'm between 6'1" and 2"...

I'm 5'7 and sat on one that had 12" bars and they felt right. That's what I ordered and that's what's getting installed this week. I've read tons of these posts and there was one overwhelming theme. Whatever you think you should be getting, go one size bigger. I originally thought 10" would be for me, but after sitting on a bike with the 12's I knew those were right. Another thing is some people choose the 10's to save some coin in having to replace cables. 10's are as far as you can go with stock cables. Anything more will require new cables.

You said you "sat on one that had 12" bars and they felt right." Did you ride the bike to know how it feels in a low speed turn...etc? Just curious.

I'm with ya on that. however, I don't like the look of mirrors on the bars for bikes with fairings. Just my opinion.

No I didn't. It was a guy I had just met. He allowed me to sit on it to try them out, but I didn't ride his bike. My arms were not above my shoulders and the wider bars felt more comfortable to me. I'll report back after I have them dialed in.
