If you don't like the look, I understand, but I put on the the 10" Yaffee MMB on my Ultra. The bars only stick out a little over the batwing and I am using the stock mirrors/ stock location. They have never worked better. I am 6 foot and see great behind me. I don't feel the fairing mounted mirrors would work well. With me I put safety over style. Good luck with your project, Be Safe JIM

He said he has an Ultra, which means bar mounted. "Stock mirrors/stock location" confirms he never mounted fairing mirrors after purchasing the bike. Then talked about you maybe not liking the look. Then said safety over style. Everything he said reaffirms bar mounted.
