what would a average price be for a dealer installed 103 kit for a 2010 RK with the 96? Parts, labour etc incl the compression release, new cams and Dyno
Is the oil cooler necessary? SE catalog doesn't say that but all new 103's come with one.
Please just give me dealer averages, I'm not going to a Indy because right now HD will include the 103 kit on my extended warranty and I'm not doing it myself.I do most of my own work but I'm not doing this.
Please no slagging dealers, you may have had bad luck but I have had a really good relationship and service from my dealer.
If you have had the conversion done, was it worth it?
Unsure if you have pipes etc.
you are prolly looking at 2500.00 after you include the oil cooler, compression releases and the tuner.
Hopefully you can the parts at a good price if you can catch a sale!
Most dealers run a special at ~$1,600 for the kit installed. Add $400-$1000 for a tuner and ~$300.00 for dyno. You don't need compression releases for a 103 unless you are raising the compression to 10:1 or more.
But! Don't waste your money on a dealer kit. Go to Fuel Moto and get some real power.
