All are 4 inch. Within a hundred bucks of one another.
Samsons look a smidgen longer than CFR, which look a smidgen longer than Super Trapp.
I want to hear them, but not wake the dead...or my neighbors.
All sound good, from the vids I could pull up. Paul Yaffee cites the Stouts at about 9 hp gain and 9 fp torque gain on a stock bike with no a/c mods or fuel/ignition mods. CFRs worry me a little because people cite their sound as really aggressive.
I will probably run just Xieds for awhile, then K&N air cleaner, then maybe someday Power Vision and headers - when the Feds sign off on AzDEQ's stop the silliness of M/C emissions in Maricopa County.
Stupid to use CFR's with stock headers and maybe A/C? Or with just Xied and A/C? Too much pipe?

What say you?
Was gonna go with CFR's the sound is sick but they are hard to tune resulting in low end torq loss...
jswerve: That is not correct with the new CRF exhaust. They are very easy to tune since the baffles were updated by Cary.
I have installed a ton of exhaust on people bikes and i will say my choices would be
1 CFR Great sound great quality... did I say great sound
2 Rush Big Louie Deep sound not as loud as CFR but great quality great price
3 RCX remind me of Rineharts but better chrome and quality better price
4 Fuel Moto Exhaust Deep sound on the quiet side but price and quality are great.
All 4 of these companies have had great customer service
By the way I have CFR on my bike 2011 Street glide 103 with Power duals Stage 1 intake, PCV. with these mods +12 HP and +14 TQ. From stock I can definatly feel the power difference.
I have MGS pipes and to me after many years working at a dearlership, they are one of the best sounding exhausts..but everyone and their brother has opinion on exhaust setups

So true. All you can do is do research and make an educated decision. I actually like the MGS true duals but the left side pipe location was a deal breaker for me. Nice pipes though man.
Unless Samson has made some huge changes in quality control and customer service from 5-6 years ago there is no way I would spend my hard earned money on them.
Got Cfrs on my 11 103 sg not to loud at idle but they roar when jumped on but i can still hear the tunes at hiway speeds kinda pricey and they are 4&1/2 s at the ends.kinda look like two big *** cannons stickin out the backend

You aren't alone with your need for a cross under pipe, and we listened. We now have a cross-under True Dual system. Not sure if you're still in the market, but thought I'd share this with you. Take care.

Aww, too late my friend I already installed my fatcat with ghostie but thanks nice to know that is an option in the future.
