This is my first post. I just joined. I recently installed the iPod interface kit on my 10 SG. I finally did it after wearing out the plug connection on 2 iPods being carried in my windshield bag. Anyway it's a strange problem. I am using a 60GB iPod touch. When I select shuffle from the radio controls it always starts at the same song. If I delete that song it picks another one to always start with while on shuffle. After I go up a song it then goes random as it should while on shuffle. It doesn't do that in a docking station or on ear buds.
I admit this is not a real issue. I'm just intrigued. It never did this when I was just plugging it into the radio.
Strange I have onthemove tech Hdpdplus and leave it on shuffle and never starts on the same song, but it does pick up on a song if its not over when bike gets turned off.Hope this helps.

Mine always starts on the first song, alphabetically, on my Ipod when I first select shuffle. Once it's shuffling, as long as I don't disconnect the IPod or switch to a playlist, it will always go back to the last song that was playing when I turned off the bike.
I leave my Nano connected in the pouch all the time. If I don't ride the bike for awhile, or I switch through to other modes (radio, CB, etc), sometimes I have to reselect the shuffle feature and it will start at the first song. I just hit the Up switch and it goes to a random song and continues to shuffle.....

on my HD iPod interface. Always the same song to start, but then once shuffle is pressed it does not go in same order.
Same as above. First song alphabetically, then shuffles. This only happens if my iPod suts off. If I make a short trip it is on the previous song and setting. Think it is an iPod thing.
I have the Iron Cross interface and it would start at the first alphabetic song and would not shuffle until that song finished. Then it would shuffle ok. I sent the unit to on the move tech and they updated the software to hopefully take care of the problem.
