I started with it mounted on the bars via a Ram Mount then moved it to a HD mount on the fairing. It was not a biggie to do! Wired it in to the lighting circuit so it will shut down on its own when the key is turned off. I picked up a short patch cord (Male to Male) put it through where the wiring come thru the fairing and plugged it into the AUX input to listen to the MP3 player and hear NAV turn by turn thru the speakers. the only wires going past the inside left of the fairing was the Sound Out coax.
