I am wanting to customize my stock seat to make it more "crotch-friendly" for my wife. So in the meantime, I need to purchase something fairly reasonable to use while the customizing is going on. The Question is...will an '03 Road King seat fit my '06 SG? I have one that is on CL that I can purchase for $120 that is in "mint condition". Thanks for any advice...
I have a stock Road King seat, in excellent condition. I removed it from the bike with only 6500 miles.
You can have it for 65.00 plus shipping.
Let me know if you are interested.
Thanks
Tom

here's what I learned from trying different passenger seats on my rigid frame chopper. Wider seat is better. She needs something to sit on, not straddle. I think of it as sitting on a split rail fence - do you want to straddle it, or sit sideways?
I have a Sundowner on my 11 SG. It's not much different then the stock seat for the rider, but a big difference for the passenger. Just looking at the two seats will tell you why.

i'll second that input - my girlfriend can sit all day on my road king but her ex's badlander seat was 30 min max. those round tubes look good but don't sit well.
