Hello, I was painting a small part in my garage and made sure to get as far away from the bike as possible. Well, I washed the bike today and there is a fine grainy feel to the top of the saddle bags and a few other places. You can't tell it's on there unless you rub your hands over it. Does anyone know who I can remove this? I was thinking of a good cleaner wax? Thanks never again!

clay bar will take the over spray off no problem. it will also take off any wax. So clay bar it then wax it, very simple and not very labor intensive. Clay bar will also clean chrome or glass or any smooth surface.
"Rubbing Compound" is a very generic term. There are many different grades available and if you're not familiar with them you can get yourself in trouble.

No need to just leave it. The clay bar that many have mentioned will easily remove the paint overspray with very little risk to the finish as long as you follow the instructions. Much safer than experimenting with a "rubbing/polishing compound" that you are unfamiliar with.

Nope. Other than some fine scratching because the roughened surface will not clean as easily.
I had a Goldwing with painted-on names on the trunk lid. Jay and Linda I think I recall....I heard the spraying the names with easy off oven cleaner would do the trick.
I sprayed it on, wiped it off about 30 seconds later. Worked for me...I would try it in a out of the way place first.
