Had overspray on 15 cars where I work... detailer used clay bar on painted surfaces, fresh straight razorblades on glass. Worked great, only problem was on the black plastic on cars trim... gotta wait for the white paint to wear off I guess-nothing worked that we tried
I used to manage a full service car wash. That clay bar made us a lot of money. We could clay bar and wax a car in a very short amount of time and make a fortune, and the customer would be thrilled he doesnt need a new paint job!!!
Seriously, just keep it lubed up....rub the paint down with it, and then wax your bike. The clay bar will look a little different when your'e done, cause itll pick up all the road grime and imperfections that are embedded on the paint. It wont take you more than 20-30 mins and your bike will look like brand new when you're done!
I had a Goldwing with painted-on names on the trunk lid. Jay and Linda I think I recall....I heard the spraying the names with easy off oven cleaner would do the trick.
I sprayed it on, wiped it off about 30 seconds later. Worked for me...I would try it in a out of the way place first.

Buddy of mine bought a sweet old ride but wanted to do a re-do on the pinstripe. He used some ez-off oven cleaner and it worked like a charm!!
Like themensh said always use in an out of way place first....(Like behind the garage...)
