at this point i really wished id bought the dam CVO SG
CVO's are for people who don't want to have make a lot of choices and or have to do and defer to the moco for "their tastes" which might not necessarliy be your's.
You do get a nicer paint job and bigger motor, cooler gauges, but not a whole lot more. Then you still have to tweek the motor some, and get rid of a lot of the stock BS that both have in common.
I think that they're over rated, and definately over priced.

Are you referring to all CVO owners? I certainly hope not. As I stated in a previous post. I work too damn many hours to have the time to tinker. Over 500 hours of OT this year. Yeah, I haven't done much to mine but then again it doesn't need much. I was planning on a new RGU this year and had figured in another 4-5 grand for goodies. Stumbled across the CVO in my siggy for 2k more than I would have spent. That was a no brainer for all the upgrades.

Here we go again lions flaming away!!! That's IT!!! You don't like my CVO and have me stereotyped into some loser that couldn't make his own choices on style. I have had about enough of your bashing so just to please YOU (cause that's why I am on this planet), my CVO is now up for sale!!! All about you brother....
I'm tired of this bike anyway it's WAY too nice for my loser lifestyle!
He's right though, you don't get much more. Just stretched bags and fender, led lights, dual halogen front headlight, painted inner fairing, 8 speaker 400 watt stereo, lowers, custom 2 piece seat, chrome controls, hydraulic clutch, internally wired handlebars, 19/18 front and rear agitators, rumble floorboards, custom dash and gas tank, and I probably have forgotten a few things but it's not much anyway lmao

I dont have anything against the owners of CVO's (ride whatever the f*** you want to), but i do agree with the last part. IMO $35000+ is WAAAYY to much money to spend on a bike to see 3 of the same exact bike every time Im out riding (for that price tag id like something thats actually CUSTOMized). I also like power, so it doesnt help that my 1990 will walk away from them at half the price. But hey, im not the one who has to ride/buy it so if you like them for whatever reason and have the $$$ for one, then do your thing..
I spent about $500 the first 3yrs then I built a bike shop so I could keep busy (tinker) in the winter, Big mistake the RK got about 16k put in it over the next 4yrs. I still have the bike it's in my sig I love it and besides I couldn't bear selling something for about a third of what I got in it. Now I just buy something cheap and try to turn it into something over the winter. Less money, I get my fix and I can get my money back in the spring. As for the guy that said CVO's are for people with no imagination I have one of those too. Last winter I built the trike in my sig rolled the aluminum and put it together myself. this year I'm building an inverted three wheeler using a 32' ford front straight axle and I'am fabbing the the body out of aluminum. This weekend I plan on starting the frame ( all aluminum ) it will be a side by side two seater. Yea no imagination, Buy the way what have you bolted on your bike that makes it so special.
Sorry for the rant just tired of people pigeon-holeing someone that has a CVO as a rube or unimaginative. If you haven't walked a mile in their shoes You don't know what they had to give up or how many hours they worked to get the bike they wanted. Granted some just go in and buy one so they can have a statis bike to sit in their garage. But they still had to earn the money so good for them. OK calmed down now LOL
