I'm tired of this bike anyway it's WAY too nice for my loser lifestyle!

He's right though, you don't get much more. Just stretched bags and fender, led lights, dual halogen front headlight, painted inner fairing, 8 speaker 400 watt stereo, lowers, custom 2 piece seat, chrome controls, hydraulic clutch, internally wired handlebars, 19/18 front and rear agitators, rumble floorboards, custom dash and gas tank, and I probably have forgotten a few things but it's not much anyway lmao
Garmin, Garage door opener, power locks, integrated iPod controls with the iPod,heated grips, heated seats....

Thumbs up Oh Yeah...............

I could tell you to the penny if need be, but I'm right at $10,980.00.

I'm heading for another $7,200.00 to include chroming the swing arm, a chrome rear pulley, apes, a custom seat, some other doo-dads, and a VERY trick paint job, bringing the grand total when she's finished to $18,180.00 for accessories, labor, and paint. She will be done then.

When I say done, I mean there will be nothing else I can do to her. I'm not doing cams, I think it's unnecessary, she's got all the power I need with the V & H Big Radius 2-Into-2 and the Kuryakin Air Cleaner and the dyno tune.

It's been a fun project, and I'll post pics in the spring when I'm done with her.

I'm half tempted to show this thread to my wife and tell her we've not spent much at all, but I know her. In her mind my showing this thread will just be preparation for future mods and fail to serve as nullification of past expenses.

Glad she doesn't read this forum.

I have no idea what I have dumped so far into the Electra Glide. Honestly I do not want to know, and I really do not want my wife to know. I did just order a new Heritage. I bought over $4000 worth of accessories for that when I ordered it. I won't get to see it until about March, but I am certainly looking forward to it.

My wife says "way too much" (she does spend anything on her bike, says it's just right), I say "not enough"!! LOL

I am the proud owner of a $15,000.00 rat bike...

Still needs a rewire job, a few new sensors and stuff, paint, a little chrome, maybe some head work, and well... way too much cosmetic adjustment to afford now that I have the innards the way I want them.

By the time I get 'finished' it should be about time to begin all over again...

5 years, 70K miles and still spending. That is part of the fun, only in my case it is all on parts that serve a function besides look shiny. Chrome don't get you home.
