Was about to pull the trigger on the HD Boom Audio, but was reading about the Hog Tunes Big Ultra Kit. The HD system would run me close to 9 bills installed, but the HT kit is only 560.00 and looks to be plug and play.

I put the boom speakers in my batwing fairing....without an amp or any of that ****...just replaced the stockers.
They work GREAT.

i was wondering about the boom speakers also .do you like how they sound and can you hear them going down the road? i was'nt going to add an amp or any other stuff.
DO yourself a favor and forget both of them if your going to spend thart kinda cash. I went from stock speakers to hog tunes and there was a noticeable difference. Then went to boom audio and there was even more noticeable difference. Booms kicked stock and hogtunes butt by far.
But for just a couple to few hundred bucks you could just get a rockford fosgate pbr300x2 amp (like $125-140 amazon or on classifieds here) and get some polk audio mm651 speakers ($127-140 amazon)
Do the install yourself. Its pretty easy and you will have a kick *** system for under 300 bucks.
