Default Automatic volume control and iPod adapters
Ok, once and for all.does avc work with any of the iPod adapters other than the one from Harley?im talking about the ones wired in to the radio,not the audio input on the front of the radio or fm transmitters.it needs to work like the Harley harness.

AVC works downstream from the input source. It doesn't matter what you're using - hard wired, front 2mm plug or stock. AVC will work.

I just installed 3 of the Ipod adapters from Iron Cross Audio. I only got the chance to ride mine once since then, and I was so bundled up with a 3/4 helmet I didn't notice if the AVC was working or not. I think it was, but I'm not 100% certain.

I have the Ipod adapter from Iron Cross audio and the HD NIM installed, works as advertised.

I have the HDPDPlus II from Eastern Performance and all the hand controls and AVC work also displays song info onto the Radio display.

Are the adapters from Harley and iron cross the only ones that have full use of the stock radio switches?
