Folks get by with the polks because they are 3 ohm but ya really to need to use 2 ohm speakers with the stock HK. Infinity/JBL (made by HK) makes some good 6.5" coax 2 ohm speakers that screw right in with some dragonfly/arc/throttle-up/ebay adapters. I'm not a fan of the "bike" specfic speaker, as ya pay more for less quality imho.

I'm planning on swapping out the worthless air temp gauge and was considering swapping the speakers while I was in there.
I was looking at the J&M speakers but then I saw the Hog Tunes and was considering going that direction since I wanted more bass and didn't think I neede more treble that the tweeters on the new J&M grills would provide.
Anyway, I digress.
I'm curious to hear what you decide to go with and also what others think.
One vote for Hog Tunes so far.
If you want a dramatic change consider a Rockford Fosgate PBR300x2 and a pair of Italian made 6.5 Hertz speakers. You'll be blown away.
what is the model number on those hertz speakers. i have j&m and they sound great but i wanted to try something different since alot of guys talk about the polk and hertz speakers. thought i would try something different over the winter.
