Default ? on Shocks

I have a 2012 Street Glide and want to make the ride better. I now am trying to decide between Terry Cable and Progressive and would like input to pros and cons for each. Has anyone tried both and have an opinion?

JRI look like the best option at the moment, I would advise calling Howard as navigating his website is like dancing with spiders.

Careful, he will flame you, he does not take even friendly criticism well.

Ive ridden on both Terrycable and Progressive 440 and 940 and a couple friends bikes with 3-3 Ohlins and Works Shocks. My bike Im running 940 Progressives and am happy with the ride and performance of them.

IMO bottom line is the Progressive are much better than the stock shocks, Terry Cable and Works a little better if set up correctly and the Ohlins and JRI that Howard now sells probably the top of the line for our bikes. But there is a big difference in pricing between them so its also important to take that into account as well as your riding style and ability... will you based on your abilities and type of riding really notice the difference? A lot of riders buy the top of the line stuff nd never really have the need for it because they dont push into that area. Im a pretty agressive rider and a lot of my riding is canyons, i replace floorboard pans yearly on my bikes and for me the Progressive 940 were enough of an improvement for the $ that they made sense. If I had a bigger budget I probably would go JRI or Ohlin but for about $ 500 the Progressives are the best bang for the $ IMO.
