By the time you apply the forum discounts you'll be about 250 over the 500 you want to spend. If you're going to lay out that kind of coin for shocks, at least call an expert and let him explain the importance of high quality shocks.
Someone told me a long time ago "The best you know, is the best you've ridden". If you haven't tried one of the higher end shocks, you are short changing yourself. You get what you pay for.
What he said pay half as much again for shocks that are three times better.
