I always find it funny when guys/gals drop 3-5K on their scoot in the first 6 months, and then trade the next year. Then repeat the following year...........lol
While I've dropped a few coins on mine since I bought it in 2008, its not even close what I have in my truck. If you want to feel good about what you spent on your scoot, go to any drag racing forum, and what you spent will be nothing compared to what it cost to race
I don't count things like the GoPro camera because I use that for things other than the bike. But, I did log the mounts for the bike. If I sell something that gets entered as a credit, if I receive a gift it gets logged with no price. Things like helmets, jackets etc also go on the list.
So, with that said the total on my bike (including purchase-it was paid off in 2 years) is right at $26,000.
Let's see that's about $3700 a year/$308 month.
That amortization will look better as time goes by as I'm about as done with it as any of us ever are.
I've spent a lot of money on vacations, cars, trucks, SUV's, motor homes and golf, but the best memories are on the motorcycle.
Or you could leave the motorcycle stock (sorry, I said the "S" word on this forum:+)and save a bundle.

It's a lot, but whatever, YOLO...better than spending it on bad habits that are harmful to others. It's my peace...to each his own.
