I would have the Road Zeppelin if I could bear spending the money, but the Hammock is nice and comfy for 1/2 the price.

I have the Danny Gray Long haul Airhawk can't tell you what it's like yet but just sitting on it is like a very supportive air mattress. Not sure if it would be for the bad back kind of fellar I'd say one of the more cushiour seats mentioned would be better for you like perhaps the road Zeppelin.

I just received a c&c this week. I got it pushed back 2 inches. Way better than stock, and they are some great people to deal with.

Russell Day Long Saddle, It's what the 800 mile a day riders swear by. Not cheap but well worth it for the long run. They custom make them to your demensions using your seat. This one was once a C&C solo with back rest. Russell will use your stock seat or aftermarket seat. It incorporates a spring system that spreads your weight more evenly across a greater area. It's provides an amazing ride.

+1, love my Day Long! If you don't need the passenger done not any more $ than an HD Hammock. Had mine done last January, got it back in 5 weeks. I can outlast my friends on their Goldwings, tank to tank not a problem.

The Hammock seat is amazing. You can actually feel the built in sling "Hammock" absorb the hard hits. I love my Hammock. It may not be the sexiest seat but I can ride all day in confort.
They are a little pricey but sometime you can get a used one around $350.

I bought the Corbin and love it. Thousand times better than the stock seat.
