I have a 2009 Ultra Classic with a stock seat. I had lower back surgery two years ago and still have have a number of back issues. What would you recommend as a good seat in a resonable price range. Thanks for all the suggestions.
I see you already have a backrest. I have a Mustang wide touring solo with a backrest and very comfortable. I not only have severe back issues but an old tailbone issue that bothers me after many hours not only on a bike but cage as well. dawg's suggestions may be your best bet.

Agree. I have a Mustang wide touring. Regardless, get yourself a good backrest that goes with your seat. Once you have a backrest, you will never be without one after that.
Have tried several and all are better than stock. Corbin can lick my sweaty sack, they aren't worth the gamble. However last year I bought a Hammock and best seat ever, rode 725 miles the first day with only two quick fuel stops and zero discomfort, would buy it again today.
Sundowner is a "relatively" cheap improvement, for serious issues a Road Zeppelin might be in order for you. Expensive, but from what I hear it's a great seat.
