I'll have to wait a few days until I can give you the final report but I'm very impressed with Howard and his operation.
He's devoted to his business.
Knows more about suspension than most mechanics.
Gives you all the time and attention you need.
Offers great discounts to forum members.
He's always available or he'll call you back right away.
My product was shipped the same day I deposited a check into his account.
I'll follow up after I've completed the installation with Howard's help (on the phone).
I have just sent my order in as well. Was set to go with 944s but followed some advise from other forum members and gave Howard a call. Well, maybe I am a little slow, because the lengthly discussions took 2 calls. Howard was very patient and extremely knowledgeable. I was fully prepared to buy the most expensive Ohlin set up Howard has, which he quickly talked me out of. After I answered many questions about my weights and riding style Howard recommended 2 shock choices. I went with the JRI B. Hats off to Howard, he could have just let me buy a shock that was 2X the cost. Instead, he appeared genuinely more interested in getting me a shock that was best suited for my situation. Can not wait to get them on in the spring and try them out.
As good as Howard is before the sale, he is better after the sale. Had a buddy of mine help (ok, he wanted an excuse to get out of the house and drink a few beers), who is a big car guy. My buddy was blown away by the personal attention we got, and how much we learned during the process. Wished he could find Howard's equivalent for cars. Howard spent as much time as we needed to get things done right.
