Are the PCIII's worth the money? Are they hard to install? And finally do you need a shop to fine tune it or do they come preset? I know these sound like stupid questions, but if I get the Rinhart True Duals I plan on getting stage 1 download and filter andgetting the PCIII.
Yes...PCIII's are well worth it. You can install one in less that 10 minutes. Its a must on the 07's if you want it to run half way right. I got mine from Jamie at fuelmoto....its programmed to your specs. Do the air cleaner and pipes too while you're at it. http://www.fuelmotousa.com/
BH why not the download and filter? Only asking because I honestly am clueless here and just want to do things right. ABNMarine, I have an '07 RK and yours says it's for an '02 thru '06.
The HD download is a standard download that isn't the best tune. A tune is not a one size fits all and that is howHD treats the download. You would get better results with a PCIII or SERT. If using one of these two items, it will overide the download making it a waste of $$$.

the stage 1 HD download is still EPA compliant and is for the squealin eagle exhaust systems...SE exhausts suck in comparison to what is available in the aftermarketso why bother....your RTD will flow more than the HD exhaust...and combined with a greater flow air cleaner you must install a EFI mapping system ie PCIII or SERT at the same time as you do your pipes and breather kit. A Stage 1 download is a waste of
money as redundant...not sure how old your bike is...did you do the 0903 ECM calibration upgrade?...don't think BH likes SE ac...I went with Arlen Ness Big Sucker Stage 1..nicer install...K&N and Doherty are good...I went with with V&H Ovals on factory headers...they make good power...you can buy Ness air cleaners from Eastern Performance ($100)
