Extended Warranty
Thanks for all the info. really appreciate it. I usually average 10 to 13000 miles a year and since my other bike has been sold this one will be used a lot.Have decided to check into the extended warranty mainly for when we're out on long trips. Thanks again

I bought my bike new in march of 07, and when ask if I wanted the exterded warranty, I knew that it was going to be hopped up as soon as it left the dealership. I said no thanks. Am I sorry? No way! I'm as happy as a Pig in slop still today.
I called around and did not find a better price than his.

I have it on my '09 ultra and have had to use it twice, once the starter went out and the second time TBW went out. each time cost me $50. and the bill was over $1,000. so it worked for me. Then I had a rear flat(run over a chunk of metal) cost me $0 for towing and new tire because of the tire and wheel part. so it is worth it to me.
This past October I bought an 06 RKC with 34,500 miles on it and bought an extended HD Warranty from the dealer. Already had seals and gaskets replaced, HD paid $800 and i paid $50.

Did you have to buy it on the same day you bought the bike or did you buy the warranty later?
