Default advice ... sniffer ?

2010 Road King when i purchased new they (the dealer) did stage 1 and dynoed using a tts mastertune ... ran great ... last spring i swapped out the headpipe with a fuelmoto (no cat) and went from 2." baffles to 2.5" baffles in my Rush slip-ons ... still ran great ... i dont use my original dealer ( long story) ... but my next dealer ( that swapped out the headpipe for me ) said it would be okay ... that the 02 sensors would adjust some ... plugs are 2/3 thirds white with blended light grey ... they say looks fine on this bike ... stopped at another dealer and they said plugs look a little lean ... they told me they had a sniffer they could check it with ... i dont no much about this ... opinions: dont wont to spend money i dont have to ... but .. should i just get it re-tuned with the tts or let them use this sniffer thing or listen to the dealer that works on it and says everything is fine ....

if the plugs are that light, you're running lean. No need for a sniffer to tell you that. fine tune it. They must just make the dealer mechanics sit in a room for 10 hours a day chanting "that's normal" durring training. Man that's their stupid answer for everything.

Have it dynoed again, thats a big change in flow and back pressure.

The "sniffer thing" actually measures AFR ( Air Fuel Ratios ) and is one of the most ( if not thee most ) accurate method of diagnosing combustion specifications.

white plugs dont tell you anything in an EFI, It requires O2 analysis to verify your AFR and tune condition. Plugs will continue to appear grey/white down to the low 13s, NOBODY can tell anything usefull by "reading" plugs in an EFI.

Very true on the EFI. You can't tell anymore. Not like you used to be able to.

The messed up thing about it ... the conflicting info I'm getting is coming from different dealers ... you would at least think they would be on the same page ....
