I installed a set of 13" 444's on a customers bike. A big improvement over the 440's

You said you did not want to lower the bike, 940s and 944s will lower you about an inch.

The op has a street glide so it will not lower the bike at all!

I looked at all the options myself to improve the ride of my 12 Street Glide but after all the searches on the forum one name kept coming up, Howard Messner at Motorcycle Metal. I looked up his website and took the time to read all the info he had posted there, then took the time to sit down and actually call the man himself and i must say i am glad I did, not only did he answer all my questions but he took the time to educate me about suspension. This is a man that actually cares about the products and services he sells. After talking to him and studying his info on his site I decided on the Ohlins 2-2b and can't wait to receive them. I too looked at all the options and was liking the Progressive 944 till I talked to Howard. The fact that the shocks he sells are set up to my specific needs are what I like. The progressives though better then stock are still set up for anybody just like the air-ride that comes stock from the MoCo. And as far as price there really is not a big difference between the Progressives and what Howard sells, that is the surprising part to me. Custom built shocks compared to off the self shocks without a huge price difference is well worth the time to talk to him and look over his website in my opinion. Im not a spokesman for the man, but I can appreciate someone that cares about my needs and comfort without taking advantage of his customers. Give him a call , you won't be sorry that you took the time to do so.
