The way it seems is that we won't know what will really happens till it does. Now with that out of the way...I heard that the MoCo is going to release a liquid cooled engine with battery hybrid technology on a trike chassis with a redesigned Road Glide fairing and a double front wheel just like the Can-An Spyder. Now I may not have heard the salesman at my dealer right because the cute girl at the clothing counter was bending over and putting shirts into the bottom rack.
I did see some bikes at the museum with two front wheels. Maybe that was future rather than past. Or maybe history repeats itself? I was on the top-secret behind the scenes tour of the archives. Could be what's next...
My guess is H-D is adjusting production output to sales figures.
I can see them eliminating one of the RK models and also the EG with little or no damage to overall sales.
On the RK's, I think it would probably make sense to keep the Classic, mainly for the leather bags (even though I prefer the hardbags) and where the owner can easily remove the windshield for "cool" riding!
