Power Vision is great. Fuelmoto is the place to buy. Unlimited support and time to talk to you and will send you a map suited to your bike. Great people there. If I know I am going up that way I will be sure to make an appointment with them to use my PV and their dyno to complete my tune. As of now the canned map and a couple AT runs have got the bike running fine. Occasional decal pop on quick release of the throttle but no pops going up the gears so they know their stuff. Well worth the money. I think they are still giving away the handlebar mount and a t-shirt with purchase. Good deal and support.
Not quite the same set-up or bike but PCV (retrofit) would fit the bill. I had same pipes and went to the current. Started with base 96", stage 1 AC and pipes with PCV - then added cams, and V&H exhaust. Give Jamie at FM a call. They double the warranty and will provide MAPs for your current set-up and future mods at no extra cost. I went that route and then added the AT later. All easy to install. No doubt you will get many other differing offers of advice. Ride safe.
with this setup unless you're looking to "tinker" a PCV from fuel moto with a map from them will more than suffice for you. Or even the micro-tuner. No need to spend a ton of $ on a tuner if you're not going to just let it be.
However if you're going the route of a dyno-tune then make sure you ask the person who's tuning your bike, what they prefer to use.

I had the PCV from Fuelmoto it worked just fine no problems at all, second time around I went with the Power Vision from Fuelmoto. Both have worked just fine but I never did like the piggy back arrangement with the PCV, never had a problem I just did not like having another connection that could go wrong, the PV is a nice clean install with no additional connections. The PV also as a lot of built in funtions used along with the included software, I just flashed the ECM because at this point I have no idea how to use the multitude of functions but at least it's there for the future if I change my mind.
Power Vision from Jamie and the boys at Fuel Moto. This will look after your current setup and any mods that you make in the future. It also has a ton of features over and above the tuner. Check it out on the FM site.
I think one or two others may have already suggested the Power Vision, purchased from Fuel Moto, but I'll go ahead and re-suggest it. There are so many uses for this tool and FM are the best to work with.
ok im going through this now i was told by harley to use the screaming eagle tuner bcuc it handles so much mthan just air fuel ratio it is alot more $ though ive been checkin for months and ive heard of all of them listed here but honestly after talking to so many techs and master techs im told the one aftermarket to go with is made by cobra.its well made and is constantly updating the comp info for fuel and air where the others not so much next would be the pwrcmndr 5 if your gonna do it stick with the top 2 remember once you get your bike running the way you want it you wont have to mess with it unless you do engine mods

I can't speak to the stealer's product or its capabilities. I can say the PCV allows a full range of control over AFR and timing - you need to add the AT if you want constant tuning. The stealer wants to sell you stealer products for the most part. If you have a dyno shop that stands behind their work and product go with them. I'm still a PCV or PV fan.

I had that on the last bike, then went to TTS for more rider control.
This machine went from dealer stage 1 map to PV.... really like the PV cuz I like to play with options. But if you're just gonna have a dyno and leave the bike that way until you get something different to ride, then maybe SERT (or whatever they call it these days)... good luck.
