speed sensor bad?

Default speed sensor bad?

My turn signals wont cancel I cleaned my sensor and they still wont cancel but the speedo works fine is my sensor bad?

Well it could be the sensor is bad or it could be the TSSM. Replace the sensor with a known good one and see.

I suppose anything's possible, but really, if the speedo is working and not jumping around and doin weird stuff, then it's working. I would be pretty surprised if just the auto cancel quits and it's the sensor. there aren't any separate parts or anything, it's just one little round piece that sticks in there.

Mine did that and it was the speed sensor. Dam gear hit the sensor and messed it up.

Anyone checked the wiring diagrams in th service manual?

I also changed the TSSM which was a expensive no cure

If your speedometer still works as it should, it might not be the speed sensor itself, but the connections between the sensor and the turn signal module.

(Could there be a connection between the _speedometer_ itself and the turn signal module that is bad?)

Just changed one on my 96 sporty . signals would not cancel but the speedo wasn't working either. sensor fixed both

Well I finally got to ride yesterday I replaced the speed sensor and they still wont cancel WTF! this started after my motor rebuild anything else simple I should look for or I need to get used to turning them off
