I put a matched merlot sunglow on the bike recently. I love the way it looks and am proud of it. At the same time, I also installed some chrome mirrors which really makes the color pop.

Go for it. It's worth the cost.

If you do decide to tackle this, make sure you prep prep prep...any scratch will show through....I can paint and i am letting somebody else do it...I took a body work class at the local comm.college and it's experience in this case that counts....
You might do it and it turns out A-1 or screwed up so bad.

My current inner is the same as the bike. I had a red RG and had the inner painted black. I prefer the same color.

All baggers should come from the factory with painted inner fairings....
Don't think twice about color matching yours......

Local indy painter did mine....

Yes MOCO should paint it, even if it was black...You would think that while they are painting the bike it would be a few more steps...

Mine is the same color as the bike. I haven't yet grown tired of seeing the red and find it much better than the original flat black and not sure a gloss black would be any better.

I think it's a general consensus. I also love the look and feel of the painted inner. As all have recommended, paint it to match your bike. You won't regret it.
