WOW not the typical Forum member. Only 39 posts and for someone who knows it all he seems to know nothing. He won't get much out of this forum by biting hands of those helping.
Ah I see where the cornfusion was. That statement was not meant to be a smart *** statement. If it came across that way I apologize. Sometimes text doesn't come across the way that was intended. I was merely wondering "if in fact" you did have multiple equalizers, why the need for multiple. I've only heard of needing one and was wondering (for my own knowledge) why. And if there is a need for multiple maybe I had mine set up wrong. I only have LEDs in my turn sigs and they do work as run and brake just fine. But every once in a blue moon when used as turning, they'll blink ok but then start to blink slightly faster. I definitely ain't no master at HD's by any means and like to learn from whoever as much as I can. So I can see how that was read the way you thought. Just wanted to clear up. Apologies again and good luck with the original issue. Everyone, let's get this thread back on track again and help out best we can. Have a good one.
I installed more than one because I installed the LEDs over time not all at once. I did just the front turns, then the spots, then the tail light and now the rear. I was not even aware that I could have one thing that did all of them. I will problem remove them as they get very hot at times. I called Custom Dynamics and they recommended the Slim Line Custom Dynamics Signal Stabilizer which they said will do the take care of every LED on the bike without heat.
sounds like when you are adding the flashing signals ,the voltage is being applied back to the low side of the diode and losing the potential. equal voltage on both sides is the same as no voltage. I may be over thinking and almost getting into transistor theory but there is similarities with LEDs.
Ah ok cool. Yeah be careful with the heat from those things. Sounds like you got a good idea with the one signal stabilizer. I know just my one creates heat as well. Ok sorry to hijack with a side subject. On with the original post/issue. That much I don't know about lol. I'll let others help brainstorm.
